About Susan

Susan Young is an award-winning publicity strategist with 30 years of experience. 

Susan launched her company -- Get in Front Communications-- in 2000. She uses online coaching and workshops to teach professionals how to maximize publicity to increase their visibility and credibility—and make an impact.

A former radio news reporter and on-air anchor, Susan has interviewed everyone from homeless people to presidents. She also worked as Deputy Director of New Jersey Gov. Christine Todd Whitman’s Office of Radio and Television, and was a PR director for a nonprofit.

Susan has been honored as “Entrepreneur of the Year” and is one of the ‘75 Badass Women on Twitter.’ She facilitates Communication Nation on Facebook.
